🧢 Backyard Legends: The Original Sandlot 9 ⚾

📍 Some dusty lot in Smalltown, USA
📅 Summer of Eternal Childhood

Before travel ball, YouTube highlights, and NIL deals… there were these guys. No scouts. No rankings. Just pure, sun-soaked baseball dreams and 9-dollar gloves.

Meet the squad:

Benny “The Jet” Rodriguez – The hero. The speed. The heart.

Bertram Grover Weeks – Pickle pioneer. Big chew energy.

Timmy Timmons – The architect of every bad idea.

Tommy “Repeat” Timmons – “The architect of every bad idea.”

Scotty Smalls – “You’re killin’ me, Smalls!” Enough said.

Michael “Squints” Palledorous – Poolside legend. L7 weenie? Never.

Hamilton “Ham” Porter – Trash talk hall-of-famer.

Kenny DeNunez – That heater? Straight fire.

Alan “Yeah-Yeah” McClennan – Could out-hype a marching band.

These were the neighborhood heroes. They argued balls and strikes, called their own games, and believed deeply that the Sandlot World Series was real.
