BaddSports #246

🗽 New York, 1985.
They walked into the bar at 10 PM.
By 3:30 AM, they had:
– Gotten kicked out of Studio 54 (twice)
– Bought a horse (name: “Buddy Ice”)
– Played craps in the back of a deli
– Watched LT arm wrestle a mobster
– Watched Gastineau lose to that mobster
– Darryl Strawberry gave a 15-minute halftime speech at a nightclub DJ set
– Someone started calling them “The Manhattan Triangle” and it stuck
– A man in a Knicks warmup tried to join — was immediately booed out

🍸 LT paid in gold chains.
🍕 Gastineau tried to order pizza from a mailbox.
⚾ Strawberry said, “It’s not a party until you’ve forgotten why you’re famous.”

Nobody remembers how the night ended.
But the next morning, there was a parrot in the Giants locker room, a bar tab paid in World Series tickets, and an empty Budweiser truck parked outside Shea Stadium.

The legend? Never confirmed.
But every old bartender in Midtown swears it happened.
