He wasn\u2019t just productive; he was explosive, reliable, and involved in every phase of the offense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He enters 2025 at age 25, right at the peak of his physical prime, and returns to a Bills offense that continues to hum. The offensive line remains solid, the system is familiar, and Josh Allen\u2019s presence ensures a high touchdown ceiling for the RB position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Buffalo leaned on Cook in critical spots all season \u2014 early downs, two-minute drills, and inside the red zone. He responded with 1,367 yards and 18 touchdowns on under 250 touches. His ability to create chunk plays and finish drives makes him script-proof \u2014 whether Buffalo\u2019s up or chasing points, Cook is staying on the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ray Davis showed flashes, but his 113 carries for 442 yards (3.9 YPC) and limited usage prove he\u2019s more of a role player than a workload challenger. Cook\u2019s touch share and snap count should only increase \u2014 and if he pushes closer to 280\u2013300 touches, the top-5 RB ceiling is well within reach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He may not get the national spotlight like Bijan Robinson or Saquon Barkley, but James Cook is a fantasy RB1 in disguise \u2014 an elite blend of role security, age, explosiveness, and usage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the most overlooked high-ceiling picks in 2025.
