Episode One: \u201cThe Owner and the Enforcer\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Texas sun glints off AT&T Stadium as Jerry Jones steps onto the practice field in an immaculate white suit, cowboy hat tilted low, the look of a man who thinks he owns not just a team \u2014 but the entire NFL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Standing a few feet away, Micah Parsons eyes him like a hawk. Micah isn\u2019t just the Cowboys\u2019 defensive star \u2014 he\u2019s Jerry\u2019s favorite weapon, and Jerry\u2019s been whispering promises in his ear all offseason. Promises about captaincy, control of the defense, and\u2026 a record-shattering contract.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But Jerry\u2019s promises always come with strings. Today, those strings tighten. In a hushed conversation on the sideline, Jerry leans in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMicah, I need you to keep an eye on Dak. I\u2019ve got plans for this team \u2014 plans that don\u2019t work if he\u2019s running it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Micah hesitates. He\u2019s loyal to the defense, not office politics. But Jerry sweetens the deal:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPlay along, and you\u2019ll be the face of the Cowboys. Not Dak. Not CeeDee. You.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Across the field, Dak sees them talking, his jaw tightening. He doesn\u2019t hear the words, but he doesn\u2019t need to. He knows Jerry Jones has a way of smiling at one player while sharpening the knife for another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As practice ends, a staged \u201caccident\u201d occurs \u2014 a loose ball ricochets into Dak\u2019s throwing hand, leaving him clutching it in pain. Who was the last person seen near the ball?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The camera zooms in on Jerry\u2019s satisfied smirk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
